Harder Than I Thought

I really thought this whole blog thing was going to be easier. But alas, it isn't. Don't get me wrong, I still have a bazillion thoughts running thought my head, but now I think about what is appropriate to put out there on Social Media.

Which brings me to my next thought, how much easier it is to let people into our lives, but not share our lives with them. We are sharing parts of our lives with memes, experiences, pictures and life that we post. But most of the people reading what we post are just on the outside, looking in. Where is the intentionality about sharing ourselves with others.

Sometimes I go about my day and just exist, I will share a post because I agree with it, but won't explain my thoughts or feelings behind it. I don't elaborate, it's just #word!!

I google search interacting on social media, but came up with articles about how businesses should  use social media to interact with their followers. I want to be able to connect with the people around me. I want them to matter to me. I don't pray about a business, or how to get the brand name of something out there. I pray about my kids succeed, about my friends feeling better when they are sick, about my co-workers not being stressed. To me those are real life things. Those are the important things I want to think about and live my life along side my friends and family.

I don't want to be the person that aimlessly scrolls by your life, I want to live my life with yours.

If you need me to make you a pot of Chicken Noodle Soup, let me know. If you want to chat on the phone, let me know. If you want to tell me a story, let me sit down with you and share your story.

Wow, kinda rambled on here.
